The Comprehensive Neuropsychological Evaluation is the most complete assessment Pivot offers — a full neuropsychological battery for adults with complex presentations, high-stakes documentation needs, or questions that require the depth of a complete cognitive and psychological profile.
This evaluation is for you if:
You've been carrying a complex clinical history for a long time, and you need someone to finally put it all together. Maybe there are overlapping diagnoses that have never been properly sorted out. Maybe you need documentation for a licensing board, disability determination, or high-stakes academic accommodation — and partial answers won't do. Maybe you've always wondered whether there's a learning disability underneath everything else, or whether autism spectrum traits are part of your picture.
This evaluation is also for adults who simply want the most thorough, defensible, and complete neuropsychological profile available — because they're done with assessments that raise more questions than they answer.
What's included
Everything listed. Nothing hidden.
- Comprehensive clinical interview — a full neurodevelopmental, psychiatric, medical, and occupational history, with collateral interview where available
- Complete intellectual and cognitive assessment — a gold-standard cognitive battery administered live via telehealth, providing a detailed profile of verbal and nonverbal reasoning, working memory, and processing speed
- Verbal and visual memory assessment — direct, performance-based measurement of how you learn, store, and retrieve information across both verbal and visual domains, administered live
- Academic achievement testing — a comprehensive evaluation of reading, writing, and mathematics skills relative to your cognitive ability, supporting learning disability diagnosis and accommodations documentation where indicated
- Full computerized neurocognitive battery — objective, performance-based assessment across all major cognitive domains, completed independently from your home
- ADHD and executive function rating scales — self-report and observer forms across multiple domains
- Comprehensive mood, anxiety, and personality assessment — the most thorough psychological instrument available for adult psychopathology, producing a fully integrated personality and psychiatric profile
- ASD differential evaluation — a structured screening pathway including, where clinically indicated, a live observational interview specifically designed for higher-functioning adults who may have masked or camouflaged autistic traits throughout their lives
- Scoring, interpretation, and comprehensive report writing across all domains
- Written evaluation report (typically 18–30+ pages) — a full neuropsychological narrative integrating every domain into a coherent clinical picture
- Personal feedback call (15–20 minutes, phone) — included with every evaluation
Questionnaires, rating scales, and the computerized cognitive battery are completed asynchronously before live testing sessions. Live testing is typically conducted across two to three sessions scheduled at your convenience.
What the report gives you
The most complete clinical document Pivot produces. Your report integrates findings across every domain assessed into a coherent neuropsychological narrative — explaining not just what the data shows, but what it means, how the pieces relate to each other, and what to do next. Diagnostic impressions address all relevant conditions with explicit differential diagnostic reasoning. Recommendations are specific, sequenced, and actionable.
This report is designed to meet the documentation requirements of medical boards, licensing authorities, disability determination offices, academic institutions, and standardized testing organizations. It is written to stand on its own.
A note on ASD differential evaluation
For clients where autism spectrum disorder is a primary referral question, the Comprehensive Evaluation includes a structured ASD screening pathway. When clinically indicated, this extends to a live observational interview — the most defensible structured ASD diagnostic tool available for adults — adding approximately 60–90 minutes of additional live session time. This component is included when the clinical picture warrants it, and is discussed during your intake process.
If ASD differential is your primary referral question, please mention this when booking so your evaluation can be structured accordingly. An additional fee of $1,000 applies when the full structured ASD interview is indicated and administered, bringing the total investment to $4,995.
Timeline
Comprehensive evaluations typically span two to three live sessions over two to three weeks, with asynchronous components completed between sessions. Most clients receive their final report within four to five weeks of booking. We will discuss your specific timeline — including any accommodation deadlines or external documentation requirements — during your intake.
Investment
$3,995 — flat fee. No surprises. $4,995 — when full ASD differential evaluation is indicated.
Payment is due at the time of service. HSA and FSA cards accepted.
