About | Pivot Psychological Services

Built for the questions that have
gone unanswered too long.

Pivot Psychological Services is a telehealth neuropsychological evaluation practice for adults who are ready for a real answer — not a rushed assessment, not a checklist, not the minimum a payer will cover.

Most adults who seek neuropsychological evaluation have been waiting a long time to do it. They've managed unexamined difficulties for years — wondering whether it's ADHD, something else, or a combination nobody has properly sorted out.

Pivot was built for those people.

Why this practice exists

Adults deserve the same quality of neuropsychological evaluation that has historically been reserved for children, people with the right insurance, or those with access to academic medical centers. Telehealth makes it possible to deliver that quality of evaluation efficiently, accessibly, and entirely on your schedule — without waiting lists, without geographic constraints, and without the compromises that come with insurance billing.

When a practice bills insurance directly, the insurer controls the process: which tests can be run, how many hours are covered, what diagnosis must be listed. The result is often a compressed evaluation designed to satisfy a billing threshold — not to answer your actual question. Pivot has no insurance auditor looking over our shoulder. Your evaluation is built around your referral question, your clinical picture, and the depth of assessment your situation actually requires.

How we work

💻

Telehealth only

All services delivered via HIPAA-compliant video. No commute, no waiting room, no in-person appointments of any kind.

🧠

Evaluation-focused

We don't offer medication management or crisis services. We do one thing — and we do it thoroughly.

👤

Adults 18+ exclusively

Every system, measure, and report in this practice is designed for adults. Not adapted — designed.

🔒

One clinician, start to finish

The same licensed psychologist who conducts your evaluation interprets your results and writes your report. No technicians. No supervised trainees.

What you can expect

1
A thorough evaluation built around your question Not a one-size-fits-all battery. Your evaluation is scoped to your referral question, your history, and the depth of assessment your situation requires.
2
Transparent flat-fee pricing — no surprises All fees are published in advance. No hidden charges, no balance billing, no ambiguity about what you're paying for.
3
A written report that reads like a clinical narrative Not a list of numbers. A genuine explanation of what the findings mean, what they don't mean, and what to do next — written for an intelligent adult without clinical training.
4
Results within two to four weeks From first contact to final report. Not six months. Not a year. The calendar is one of the most meaningful things a self-pay practice can offer.

A note on who we serve best

Pivot's clients are typically adults who have been managing undiagnosed or misdiagnosed difficulties for a long time — often years, sometimes decades. They are smart, capable people who have developed sophisticated ways of working around something they've never fully understood. They are done with incomplete answers.

If that sounds like you, you are in the right place.

Not sure if Pivot is the right fit? Our brief two-minute screener will help you figure out where you stand — no obligation, no clinical relationship established, no cost.
